Meet The Team

Since taking on our first clients in 2007, our North River family has grown substantially. We currently have over 15 office staff and more than 250 home care aides, including skilled nurses and social workers.

With offices in Norwell and Sandwich, MA, we care for clients throughout Southshore, Cape Cod, and Metrowest Massachusetts.

Jen Davis

Client Service Manager
Years in the Industry: Over 20
Start Date at North River: 2015

Jen joined the North River team in November 2015. Previously, she worked at South Shore Hospital, Norwell VNA as a private care manager for families on the South Shore.

Jen received a Bachelor’s Degree from Villanova University. Then she pursued her Master’s in Geriatric Management from UMass. There she focused her graduate studies on Hospice Care and Alzheimer’s Disease. Jen then went on to become a Certified Dementia Practitioner in 2017.

Jen lives with her husband and two daughters in Norwell, MA.

Julia Hawkins, COTA/L

Client Service Manager
Years in the industry: Over 7 years
Start Date at North River: July 2019

Prior to joining North River Home Care, Julia worked as a certified occupational therapy assistant. She has experience in a variety of settings including a skilled nursing facility, an assisted living facility, and in-home settings through a VNA. It was through those experiences that Julia gained a passion for providing care for seniors and contributing to their overall health and well-being.

After living out of state and other areas for over 10 years, she is back living in her hometown of Hingham with her son Brody. She likes to spend her free time staying active with her son and enjoying all things outdoors!

Rachel Randolph

On-Call Manager
Years in Industry: Over 7 Years
Start Date at North River: September 2018

You might already know Rachel because she’s one of our Scheduling Coordinators and On-Call Manager. She’s also a warm, relational person who makes people feel at ease when talking to her.

Rachel has extensive experience in non-medical home care. She spent many years as an in-home caregiver serving clients from all walks of life.

Rachel has an associates degree in Human Services and a professional certificate in Substance Abuse and Counseling Certificate. She’s also a Domestic Violence Advocate.

Rachel loves her work at North River because it allows her to help clients who may need additional resources or services to enhance their quality of life.

Kari Kelly

General Manager
Years in the Industry: Over 30 years
Start Date at North River: 2013

For many years, Kari has been in the industry, devoting most of her career to brain injury patients and adults with developmental disabilities. She is a nurse and certified Dementia Practitioner.

She joined North River in 2013 and has loved every minute of her time here. Kari finds it rewarding to be a part of a team that impacts people’s lives every day.

Kari resides in Plymouth with her husband and two of their four children.

Patricia LaCroix Nihill, LSW

Director of Community Relations
Years in Industry: 16 years
Start Date at North River: 2012

Patricia began her career as an adoption social worker before making the change to geriatrics.

Once she transitioned to senior care, she worked as a Licensed Social Worker in skilled nursing facilities and created a dementia-specific program for an assisted living organization. She also worked as the Director of Operations for a home care agency.

Patricia enjoys raising her young children and being outside in her free time.

Christine Patnaude

Receptionist, Human Resource Assistant, Caregiver
Years in the industry: Over 6 years
Start Date at North River: 2016

Christine likes to stay busy, and it shows. She helps us with Human Resources and serves as a caregiver too.

Christine has always loved helping people and talking with the elderly, which drew her to homecare. She is incredibly proud to be a part of the North River team because she appreciates how caring and dedicated everyone is.

In addition to working at North River, Christine helps her elderly parents and assists an elderly neighbor. She is also a cantor at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Halifax.

Christine has been married to her husband, Kevin, for 28 years. They have two terrific adult children, Paul and Jayme.
