Our Home Health Aides are specially trained on how to best care for clients with Alzheimer’s Disease and other types Dementia. Our goal is to help clients maintain as much independence as possible, and in the most dignified manner.
Our Associate Director, Laurel Lawson, is a certified Alzheimer’s Association Care Consultant and is responsible for training our professionals on the disease and it’s related disorders. She has been awarded a “Train the Trainer” certificate from the Alzheimer’s Association.
Beyond our in house training, we have collaborated with Alzheimer’s specialist Beverly Moore, founder of StilMee (www.stilmee.com), to provide our caregivers with an extraordinary training program. Beverly and her Alzheimer’s Coaches train and support our staff.
We jointly developed our unique training and support program, a first of it’s kind for the home care industry.
