The Hiring Process
Our hiring process is one of the most rigorous in the industry.
- In-depth personal interview
- State-approved written, timed proficiency exam
- Criminal Background check (C.O.R.I.), RMV check
- Professional and personal reference checks (verbal & written)
- Evaluation of practical skills
- Physician health certification
- License verification checks
- Tuberculosis test
Required Training Includes:
Policies and Procedures, HIPAA, Dementia Training, Universal Precautions, Infection Control, Back Safety, Proper Body Mechanics, Reporting Client Abuse/Neglect/Misappropriation, Tuberculosis Prevention, Communicating with Families, Professionalism, Etiquette.

- Fall prevention
- Osteoporosis
- Nutrition and cooking
- Hospice – End of life care
- Caring for seniors with vision loss
- Caring for seniors with hearing loss
We also host a monthly caregivers support group, led by an Alzheimer’s Specialist.
